The Border is open, so we’re going back to Canada!
Our Niagara Shores Tour gives you five days of great cycling, dining and sightseeing in southern Ontario along the Niagara Escarpment. Our tour loops from Fort Erie to the Welland Canal, up to Lake Ontario, and then returns to the start via Niagara-on-the-Lake to Niagara Falls to Fort Erie, all along the Niagara River!
Niagara is full of great Canadian and US history. We’ll leave you with a full day off the bikes to explore it in the quaint town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. The photo below is from our private walking tour, provided by the historical society. You’ll learn great stories about Native Americans, French and British settlers, the War of 1812, the Underground Railroad, and more! You’ll even step into Polish territory at the cemetery shown below; land which has been gifted to Poland in honor of the US/Polish citizens who were training for World War 1 in Niagara but died from the Spanish Flu.
We’ll see the full length of the Welland Canal, from Lock 8 on Lake Erie all the way to Lock 1 in St. Catherines on Lake Ontario. There’s a great museum at Lock 7, pictured above, and a chance to see giant ships. The photo above is from our overnight stay at the Inn at Lock 7 in Thorold!
Registration is quick and easy. Please click on the registration button link below and make your selection of either a solo guest in a private room ($99 deposit, $2,399.00 total tour fee) or two guests in a shared room ($100 deposit, $3,598.00 total tour fee for 2 guests). We’ll invoice you for balance in 3 payments with the final payment due May 31. Come along, it will be fun!
