This tour loop dates back to the early 1980s when Tour Chief Jim was chair of the local high adventure options for the Boy Scouts in Duluth. Although we’re true to the route and overnight cities, many things have changed! Nice hotels, good food, modern mapping, and we’re now 1/3 on paved rail trail or parkway.
